The Russell Howard Hour - Season 2
The Russell Howard Hour is a British topical comedy news show, which airs on Sky Max (formerly Sky One) and is hosted by the comedian of the same name where he gives his thoughts and opinions on current topics as well as featuring special guests and other stand-up comedians. The show is in a similar style to his previous show, Russell Howard's Good News, which aired on BBC Three and then BBC Two from 2009 to 2015.
A new strand for Series 2 sees Russell address his fear of mortality in Live Forever. With the aid of comedians, Russell is set to participate in a mixture of scientifically proven, spiritual and perhaps slightly dubiously dubbed life prolonging activities including getting päntsdrunk with Greg Davies, Chinese therapy with Jimmy Carr, Shaman healing with Roisin Conaty, Nordic Cuddling with Jon Richardson, Plastination with Rose Matafeo, Goat Yoga with Mo Gilligan and Cryotherapy with Paul Chowdhry.
Filmed in front of a studio audience, Russell conducts in-depth wider social interviews with an array of interesting people including Ed Sheeran, John Oliver, Alesha Dixon, Chris O’Dowd, Naomi Klein, Jamie Oliver, Louis Theroux, Diane Abbott, Greg Davies, Fiona Bruce, Richard Curtis, Stephen Merchant, Jack Black and Elizabeth Banks.
